These spoon rests are hand thrown on the potters wheel, and made from stoneware clay and handcrafted glazes. I added two holes to the top and strung some hemp cord around them, so you can hang them up when you are not using them, and they become functional decor. This is especially useful in small (ok lets say cozy) kitchens. I love the country cottage feel that they have. Mostly I love functional pottery that is also fun and decorative!
We actually keep two of these floating around the counters at my house. I like one planted by the coffee pot for our coffee spoons and we keep a separate one for whatever we are cooking. It makes it so much easier to clean the counters. Now all you need to do is start cooking all of that food.
This listing is for 1 spoon rest in the cobalt blue glaze. These spoon rests are handmade and therefore never exactly alike, though I can come pretty close. They range in size from 5-6 inches diameter and stand about an inch tall. These are Dishwasher and microwave safe.
